About the role
As an Assistant Manager/Manager in Commercial Real Estate Research, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive client research services, focusing on commercial real estate market intelligence, location intelligence, transaction intelligence, and more. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to deliver high-quality reports and insights.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research to provide real estate market intelligence, location intelligence, construction intelligence, and transaction intelligence.
- Prepare detailed Monthly, Quarterly reports, including market intelligence studies, industry reports, and client-centric bespoke studies, leveraging Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Analyze market trends, key themes, and reasons for market fluctuations to support client-specific assignments and ad-hoc research queries.
- Participate in forecast discussions and contribute to the preparation of market reports focused on India.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate research findings into strategic initiatives, and maintain organized documentation and archives of research materials.
- Conduct field research by visiting developers' offices, project sites, and interacting with relevant internal business lines to gather primary data sources.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in real estate research, market analysis, or a similar role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Agile and flexible approach to role responsibilities. Startup mindset with a proactive attitude.
- Self-starter, confident, collaborative with ability to multi task and work in a team.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
